COMPETITION RULES
1. The competition is operated by EMI Group Archive Trust, Dawley Road, Hayes, Middlesex, UB3 1HH (“EMI”, “We”, “our”, “us”).
2. The competition runs from 11.12.13 until midnight on 15.12.13 (“Closing Date”).
3. Entry to the competition is free of charge, but is conditional on submitting an eligible entry and providing accurate and valid contact details.
4. There is one prize which is as follows (“Prize”):
A Copy of Scott’s Music Box Double CD compilation album.
6. For entries to be eligible you must submit a valid email address to the EMI Group Archive Trust Newsletter sign up form. If you are under the age of eighteen (18) you must have the permission of your parent or guardian to enter this competition. Only one entry will be accepted per person and this will be the first entry received by us.
7. This competition is not open to employees or contractors of the EMI Group Archive Trust, any person directly or indirectly involved with the EMI Group Archive Trust or the running of the competition, or their immediate family members.
8. The winner of the Prize will be selected at random from all eligible entries received and such selection will take place within 5 working days of the Closing Date.
9. The winner will be notified by email or telephone by a representative from the EMI Group Archive Trust within 10 working days of the selection process. Only the winner will be contacted personally.
10. Our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. We do not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries. We shall not be held responsible for any inability to submit entries as a result of computer service, systems and or server failure, error, interruption, defect or delay or any other technical malfunction. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
12. Entrants must supply all details requested and comply with all rules to be eligible for the Prize. No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently. Deeming an entry void is at our absolute discretion.
13. Where the winner has provided an incorrect address or email address the prize will be deemed to have been forfeited and we shall randomly select a new winner. Such new winner will be advised of their prize in the manner described above.
14. The Prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
15. If you win the Prize and fail to claim the Prize or decline acceptance of the Prize within 30 days of being notified of winning we can, at our sole discretion, randomly select a new winner.
16. It is a condition of entry that you agree to your name being made publicly available to you if you win and also available on request. Requests for the name of the winner must be made in writing within one month of the Closing Date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the attention of EMI group Archive Trust, Scott’s Music Box Competition 2013, EMI Archive Trust, Dawley Road, Hayes, Middlesex, UB3 1HH or sent via email to info@emiarchivetrust.org
17. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agree to be bound by them when entering the competition.
18. We reserve the right to change, cancel or withdraw this competition at any time.
20. This competition and the rules of the competition are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This competition is void where prohibited by local law.
