Volunteer to help on a Trust project

We need volunteers to help us with our projects.

The sort of projects we are working on or plan to work on include oral history, cataloguing assets, scanning and making available documents.

If you would like to volunteer some time to help with our projects, please get in touch with Joanna Hughes (joanna@emiarchivetrust.org)

If you are an expert and would like to get involved

If you have specific skills in the area of sound recording or deep knowledge of the recording industry or the history of EMI we would like to make contact with you. We are always looking for friends to help us improve our offering.

Please contact Joanna Hughes (joanna@emiarchivetrust.org)

Contribute your story to the EMI Archive

We have begun a project to collect the memories of people who have worked at EMI over the years.

We are also looking for life stories from people who were actively involved in the recorded sound industry including people who worked for rival companies.

We would like to record your memories for posterity and make them available via this site and other channels.

If you have a memory that you would like to share with us, please contact Joanna Hughes (joanna@emiarchivetrust.org)

If you would like to donate artefacts to the Trust

The EMI Group Archive Trust has some, albeit limited, space to store additional assets that have been gifted to the Trust.

If you have artefacts (photo’s, books, gramophones etc) that you would like us to receive and look after, please contact Joanna Hughes (joanna@emiarchivetrust.org)
