Description
The Gramophone Grand was introduced in 1907 and was available in two cabinet styles (Chippendale or Sheraton) until 1911. This Gramophone Grand is a 'Chippendale' version whose cabinet was "Solid mahogony in pure Chippendale style with hand carved scrolls and frets". It also had the latest triple-spring motor, 12" turntable, speed indicator, taperarm and Exhibtion soundbox. In 1909 the Chippendale retailed for £45. |
